Defend Your Country: Soldiers, get ready. Kellie Pickler, Randy Houser and Jamey Johnson are gearing up for an upcoming USO tour. This will be Pickler's third USO trek, and this time she's only taking appropriate footwear. "[I] think I'm gonna leave the 'Red High Heels' at home," Pickler tweeted earlier this week. "It's easier to jump in/out of helicopters in flats."

Houser and Johnson will also deliver fan postcards they've collected during their tour. "Those guys in the field need some emotional connection to home, and I think this project will bring a little bit of home to them," veteran Johnson said. "You have to respect the fact that another human being in your country is willing to give their life for your freedom." Houser agrees, "Any way that we, as entertainers, can provide comic relief, music relief or any kind of support to our troops is worth making because of the effort they make for us every day." Details on the tour have been kept secret for security purposes.
